Aspek Biologi Charybdis hellerii di Perairan Teluk Kendari Sulawesi Tenggara

Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui aspek biologi Charybdis hellerii diantaranya rasio jenis kelamin, pola pertumbuhan, tingkat kematangan gonad, fekunditas dan faktor kondisi.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan November 2023 sampai Januari 2024 di perairan Teluk Kendari. Sampel C. hellerii diperoleh dari hasil tangkapan sampingan nelayan rajungan dengan menggunakan alat tangkap bubu lipat. Sampel dipisahkan berdasarkan jenis kelamin, selanjutnyadiukur lebar karapas dengan menggunakan jangka sorong ketelitian 0,01 mm dan ditimbang bobot tubuhnya menggunakan timbangan digital ketelitian 0,01 gram. Pengamatan perkembangan gonad dilakukan secara makroskopis, dan penentuan fekunditas dengan metode gravimetrik. Hasil penelitian rasio jenis kelamin jantan dan betina menunjukkan rasio tidak seimbang. Pola pertumbuhan C. hellerii jantan dan betina menunjukkan alometrik negatif. Tingkat kematangan gonad jantan dan betina didominasi oleh kategori belum matang gonad. Nilai faktor kondisi C. hellerii jantan dan betina selama periode penelitian tergolong pada kategori montok, serta fekunditasnya berkisar antara 196.259-356.032 butir.
