Abstract
Ikan bunga waru (L. lutjanus) salah satu famili Lutjanidae yang merupakan predator aktif mencari makan saat malam hari dan dikategorikan sebagai ikan karnivora yang hdup di Kawasan terumbu karang atau bebatuan. Penelitian karakteristik habitat ikan kembang waru pada Kawasan hidrotermal non vulkanik di perairan Teluk Kolono menggunakan metode random sampling. Berdasarkan hasl pengamatan Jumlah individu ikan bunga waru yang tertangkap di perairan dangkal Teluk Kolono di setiap stasiun sebanyak 24 individu dengan jumlah bervarasi disetiap stasiun dengan kelimpahan relative tertinggi terdapat pada ukuran remaja (100%) dan kelimpahan relatif terendah terdapat pada ukuran juwana dan dewasa (0).
