Pola Pertumbuhan dan Faktor Kondisi Kerang Coklat (Modiolus modulaides) di Perairan Desa Tapulaga Kecamatan Soropia Kabupaten Konawe Sulawesi Tenggara

Abstract
Kerang coklat (Modiolus modulaides) merupakan salah satu biota filter feeder yang hidup dan dimanfaatkan secara komersial dan sebagai sumber makanan oleh masyarakat di Perairan Desa Tapulaga. Pemanfaatan kerang yang tidak selektif dan aktifitas masyarakat dikhawatirkan dapat mengancam populasi biota di perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola pertumbuhan dan faktor kondisi kerang coklat (M. modulaides) di Perairan Desa Tapulaga Kecamatan Soropia, Kabupaten Konawe, Sulawesi Tenggara. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan September hingga November 2022. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling secara manual menggunakan tangan. Jumlah sampel yang dieroleh sebanyak 210 individu terdiri dari 109 individu kerang jantan dan 101 individu kerang betina. Nilai b dari hubungan panjang berat secara temporal dan spasial pada jantan dan betina menunjukkan nilai alometrik negatif. Hasil penelitian faktor kondisi kerang coklat selama penelitian secara temporal baik jantan maupun betina tinggi pada bulan November, sedangkan secara spasial nilai faktor kondisi beragam. Faktor kondisi menunjukkan nilai terendah 0,56 dan tertinggi 1,05, yang artinya kerang dalam kategori kurus atau pipih.
