Biologi Reproduksi Kerang Coklat (Modiolus modulaide) di Perairan Desa Tapulaga, Kecamatan Soropia, Kabupaten Konawe, Sulawesi Tenggara

Abstract
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Perairan Desa Tapulaga selama periode bulan (September-November 2022), dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui nisbah kelamin, tingkat kematangan gonad (TKG), indeks kematangan gonad (IKG), fekunditas dan ukuran pertama kali matang gonad. Metode pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak sederhana (simpel random sampling) dengan total sampel sebanyak 180 individu. Nisbah kelamin, fekunditas dan ukuran pertama kali matang gonad dianalisis menggunakan metode uji Chi-Square, regresi linear dan regresi non linear. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jumlah kerang betina lebih banyak ditemukan dibanding kerang jantan dengan rasio perbandingan 1:1,86. Tingkat kematangan gonad IV hampir ditemukan pada setiap bulannya dan puncak pemijahan terjadi pada bulan Oktober. Nilai rata-rata indeks kematangan gonad tertinggi ditemukan di bulan Oktober 1,69% adalah jantan dan betina berkisar 1,74%. Fekunditas kerang coklat berkisar 3386.283-9421.218 butir dengan ukuran panjang kerang 5,5-5,7 cm dan 8,2-8,5 cm. Ukuran pertama kali matang gonad kerang jantan 5,1 cm dan betina matang pada ukuran 5,3 cm, hasil ini menunjukkan kerang jantan matang gonad lebih cepat dibanding kerang betina.
