Studi Morfometrik dan Meristik Udang Merah (Parhippolyte Uveae) Di Perairan Rawa Desa Mopaano Kecamatan Lasalimu Selatan Kabupaten Buton

Abstract
Udang merah merupakan organisme unik yang menempati Rawa Desa Mopaano yang selama
ini belum tereksploitasi, informasi dari udang merah ini masih minim, maka sangat diperlukan
adanya pemahaman secara spesifik, khususnya terkait morfologi udang ini. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui morfometrik dan meristik udang merah (P.Uveae) di Rawa Desa
Mopaano Kecamatan Lasalimu Selatan Kabupaten Buton. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada
bulan Oktober sampai Desember 2021. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah
metode purposive sampling untuk menentukan sampling berdasarkan keberadaan koloni udang
merah dengan interval pengambilan sampel 2 kali dalam sebulan. karakter morfometrik dan
meristik dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menginterpretasikan
sebagian besar informasi yang terdapat dalam suatu organisme. Sampel berjumlah 138
individu, terbagi atas tiga kelas ukuran yaitu Juvenil, Remaja, dan Dewasa. Hasil perhitungan
meristik meliputi Total Duri Rostrum adalah 4 duri, 1 pasang maxilliped, 5 pasang kaki jalan
atau pereiopod, dan 5 pasang kaki renang atau peleiopod.
